So we're doing a blog I guess

Boy I feel like I'm 16 again, writing html and starting a blog. But I suppose there are worse things than feeling like a teenager again at 33, so I'll take it I guess.

So why am I here anyway? Well if you're reading this you may have noticed I have lots to share. A lot of projects I'm working on, and it may not surprise you to hear that I have a lot to say. Increasingly I'm finding I have nowhere to say it. Facebook is so choked with ads no one will see it, if they even care to read it. I've left twitter and tiktok altogether, and tumblr is getting worse by the second.

So when I heard about this whole indie web revival thing, I thought well hmm that seems like just the thing. See, cuz here's the thing: I'm literally a web developer. But this doesn't feel like work in the same way making scrambled eggs doesn't feel like making a souffle.

Sooooo yeah, here's to a new blogging adventure!
